Biography

Dr. Carrell is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Specializing in Hip, Knee and Shoulder Surgery. His areas of interest include Robot-Assisted Surgery of the Hip and Knee and Advanced Surgical Techniques of the Shoulder and Knee. Dr. Carrell Champions the latest techniques in arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee. He exhausts all conservative care prior to surgery and places patient’s well-being at a premium.

Dr. Carrell graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a B.A. in Molecular Biology. He received his MD from U.T. Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. Dr. Carrell completed an internship in General Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Texas A&M College of Medicine-Scott and White.

In his free time, Dr. Carrell enjoys family, the outdoors, sports and travel.
